That’s it for now, enjoy!
Fast Typer

This is a very quick and straight-forward little typing exercise in which you have 30 seconds to try and type as many words as you can. At the end you get a report on how many words you typed and your typing accuracy. Nice graphics and sound make this a catchy little typing game.
WPM Typing Test #6
Feb 20th
Clear the text from the screen by typing it as quickly (yet carefully) as you can. Words will disappear as you type them. After you complete the test, you will see a results screen that will provide you with your WPM (words per minute) typing speed.
The text for this test is from Langston Hughes’ moving poem A Dream Deferred.
WPM Typing Test #5

Type the text as quickly (yet carefully) as you can. The word wills disappear as you type them. After you complete the test, you will see a results screen that shows your typing speed in wpm (words per minute).
The text for this test is excerpted from Mark Twain’s famous essay on New England weather. There are three different excerpts, so feel free to test yourself multiple times.
Super Typing

This is yet another game in the class of Falling Words and TyperShark in which you need to type the falling words before they hit the ground. In this case, it has a target practice theme so you are essentially using a gun to shot away individual letters. This game differs from falling words in that you start off right away typing really long words.
If you are like me, you may want to turn the sounds off for this game as the sound effects are a bit much….
Great Red Herring Chase from Intuition Games
Jul 21st
I just came across a new typing game that approaches the challenge a little differently. The idea is that you are in a car chase and you need to type in the directions to your driver. It becomes a little bit like those choose-your-own-adventure books as you have 4 choices for lines at any given time and the story goes to different places depending on which line you type. Certainly not a game for everyone, but worth checking out if you are looking for something a little different.
